WAEC To Officially Launch Digital Certificate On October 20

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) will officially launch its digital versions of the west African senior school certificate (WASSC) on Thursday October 20, 2022.

Digital certificate is one of the initiatives introduced by WAEC Nigeria to improve operations of the council since it's existence in the last 70 years.

This much- awaited invention was initiated to make service delivery accessible to candidates.

The digital certificate software will essentially help candidates irrespective of the year of their examination to access their certificate.

It would also help in extending opportunities to those with the challenges of lost original certificate.

In addition, this invention would reduce the inconveniences end-users experience after losing their certificates as bearers of such lost certificates will now be able to request digital copies from wherever they are.
