JAMB Commences Sale of Forms For 2023, Direct entry



The Joint Admission And Matriculation Bord (JAMB) have commenced the sale of registration forms for the7 2023 UTME, and direct entry (DE) for prospective applicants.

According to JAMB, prospective candidates for the 2023 UTME can now get their form and begin registration from Saturday, January 14th, 2023, and the Bord expected to close the sale of Forms and registration of candidates on Tuesday, 14th February.

Meanwhile, the umpire Bord has also commenced the sale of Direct Entry (DE) application documents in Nigeria and foreign centers.

Besides, the direct entry applicant from polytechnics and college of education can obtain their forms also from centers close them.

Candidates applying for the entrance examination into the various tertiary institutions in Nigeria are admonished to keep in mind that PIN vending for the UTME examination will also end on Tuesday, 14th February while the registration portal will be shut down on Friday, February 17th.

This process is also applicable for foreign students at the accredited JAMB registration center.

Moreover, candidates have been admonished to open a new email or having a valid existing email account before starting the process as part of the requirements to sit for the examination.

For the general entry candidates seeking admission in to the university, polytechnics and college of education, are required to have at least five (5) credits grades in their O'level including English and Mathematics compulsory as well as distinction or upper credits in their polytechnics or college of education. 

In the same vein, the general and direct entry candidates are allowed to use not more than two sitting of their Senior School Examination Certificate (SSCE) certificate to qualify them for the examination ahead of the 2023 academic session across all  tertiary institutions in the country.
