N-Power Batch C, Stream 2 To Officially Begin Operations In October 2022

The deployment of NPower Batch C, Stream 2 will come to an end in September while operation will officially begin by October 2022.

Investors king learnt that the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), which is the central management Platform for the administration and coordination of social investment programmes has begun full deployment of batch C, stream 2 NPower beneficiaries.

It could be recalled that the deployment of batch C, Stream 2 of beneficiaries began in early August 2022 but was delayed due to a variety of factors which includes the presence of batch C, stream 1 beneficiaries and appropriate to avoid difficulties encountered in Batch C stream 1 programmes.

The deployment further negates the rumour that the highly  subscribed program (NPower) is gradually coming to an end.

Investors king had earlier reported that the Federal Executive Council ( FCE) on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, approve the National Social Intervention programme, NSIP (establishment) bill, 2022.

The bill will ensure that National Social Intervention program (NSIP) which house NPower be backed by the necessary legislation to ensure its continuity and sustainability.

If the bill is passed in to law and assented by the President, it will make NPower and other social Intervention program under NSIP have statutory status.

Meanwhile, we noticed that the NASIMS portal is now being structured to accommodate new data. This has led to the deactivation of some important tabs which has caused anxiety in some quarters.

However the management of NPower has released an update to that effect.

The message read " we have received bulk messages about the removal of DEPLOYMENT status and beneficiaries' dashboard with a question about why some beneficiaries' DEPLOYMENT status are still on their dashboard.

"If you're dashboard is still showing DEPLOYMENT, then log out and refresh your browser and be cleared of doubt.

"We can't be selective in our dealings with beneficiaries, just be handy with your self-service portal as we continue to release update through the portal," the massage concluded.
