Adhoc Staff Enumerators and supervisors: NPC Set a new date for the training.
A new date has been set by the National Population Commissions for the LGA level training of NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and supervisors.
Adhoc Staff Enumerators and supervisors: the NPC report that the new training period for Enumerators and supervisor will last seven days, from March 15 to March 21, 2023. In all LGAs of the federation.
This is mentioned in the commission's most recent release of the updated 2023 Census work plan.
The NPC indicates that the Refereshers (virtual training) for state level facilitators and specialized workforce will begin on March 6, 2023, and end on March 12, 2023, outlining new schedules of operation in the updated 2023 Census work plan.
The NPC added that the LGA level trainers would have to travel to various LGA level training centers between March 13 and 14, 2023, in order to prepare for the NPC adhoc Staff Enumerators and supervisors LGA level training.
Adhoc Staff Enumerators: the commission indicated that the evaluation of training centers for the 2023 Post-Enumerators Survey (PES) would be done between March 13 and March 20, 2023, as a pre-activity before the LGA level training and person Enumeration.
The building numbering and household listing training for Enumerators and supervisor at LGA level will take place between March 15 and March 21, 2023, and the profiling the Enumerators and supervisor for the main census will take place during the same time.
Moreover, LGA level training on person's enumeration will be held from April 26 to April 30, 2023, and census night will be on May 2, 2023.
Also, it was made clear in the updated 2023 Census work plan that the National Population Commissions intended to rescheduled the 2023 population and housing census exercises.
In the new schedule, Enumeration of persons which was earlier scheduled to begin on 29th March, 2023 has been rescheduled to commence on 3rd May, 2023 and on 7th May, 2023.
