The governor of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele, has said the deadline remains sacrosanct despite entreaties s from different stakeholders that the apex bank should extend the deadline.

The Independent National Electoral Commissions (INEC) says the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) At registration areas/wards across the country would commence Today Friday. In a statement by its national commissioner and chairman, information and voters committee, Festus Okoye on Thursday in Abuja, the commissioner said that the collection at ward level would end on January 15th. Okoye urge all registered voters yet to collect their Voter's cards to use the opportunity to do so. "the develution of PVC collection to the wards commence today, Friday, 6 January, 2023.
